I like this song, because of I love the way Crystal makes the song sound, it's better than the original version by David  Archuleta. Also I really like this song because my grandpa and I always play this song together, and this song reminds me of when I first got my interest in Horses.

I chose this song because the first time I listened to this song, I loved it. I relate to this song so much because I had to move to the city just to better my education., and the lyrics to her situation is pretty similar to mine.

This song means a lot to me, because in October I had a serious depression break down from missing my home and family too much, and because my dad was away working he couldn’t be with me at that time so he told me to listen to this song every time I started to feel down.

The Secrets We Hide

we struggle to have meaning 
in this world which we all know
we try but yet we wonder 
where we all should go
hidden in the questions 
which we can not find
the answers are all hidden
deep inside our minds
hidden in our soul
is the life we try to hide
but in time it will find you
and it will release 
all of its secrets hidden beneath 
so before it ruins the life you have made
release those dark secrets 
and the memories will fade
hidden in our lives are stories left untold
of the things we didn't want them to know
but once you tell somebody
and make your feelings known
the struggle will be over
and you'll finally be home

1.What is the poet trying to say?

I think the poet is trying to say that even though you`re feeling down, lonely, confused, etc and you`re afraid of talking to someone it would be the best thing to do, because you`ll feel so much relief afterwards.

2.What emotions, feelings or thought are you experiencing?

I feel like I relate to this poem a lot, and after reading it I thought that maybe if I give talking to a person a try i'll feel the same way. :)

Rhyme, Rhythm and getting the peoples attention by trying to reach out to them.

I chose this picture because I thought that it went well with what the poem is trying to say.
